SACRED RITES

Tradtional Ancestral Medicine

Specializing in Postpartum Rites

Many of us can feel

at an almost DNA level

That something is amiss with how our world is run

There is a deep longing

A Grief

For what has been almost forgotten

and what they have tried to take away

All that is SACRED

All that speaks to our souls

That which lights our hearts on FIRE

That which is our RIGHT

That which is our HUMANITY

My passion and focus has always been Women's Health. The older I get, I recognize deep wounding or inattention or even an aversion to women's unique biological systems as well as a societal deficit, that I feel is in part, from a lack of reverence for Rites of Passage and transitions,

particularly in the life of women.

I have always been a truth-seeker and investigator. I look at multi layers within societal structures and individuals I work with – I have a history of activism. I align with the truth, often against the status quo, I can be mouthy and cheeky, but I am authentic and will not sacrifice that to fit some pretty picture. I embrace the real and raw and dark and others, as when working with clients or even with friends, I believe true healing comes when we access those deeper parts to understand the whole picture. I do the same with the collective as a whole.

What I see, and have for some time, is a massive disconnect. I even feel that the "powers that be" have orchestrated this purposefully for a very long time, by various means, as a way to control people, men and women in different ways, to keep us disconnected from ourselves, each other, Spirit, God, Mother Earth, and therefore disconnected from our innate power to thrive and heal and LOVE.

I feel each of us has this inner knowing that something is off and it is why most have some way to cope - vices, addictions - whether perceived healthy or not healthy. I believe this disconnection started with removal and demonizing of traditional medicine, healing practices, and ceremonial Rites of Passage. It came with the break up of families. It came with women trying to do everything men can do and succeeding, but now they are worn, and tired and suffering from many ailments due to this imbalance. It came from shaming women for their Cycles, their blood, their feelings, their need for rest, their body shapes and sizes, via marketing and an uneducated Western Medical establishment that created much of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the hands and minds of men, all while telling women they don't "know" what is happening to them and masking with birth control or cutting out parts as the best way to 'deal' with it. . I see postpartum work, as well as even just bringing back "tribe/village" and honour for Rites of Passage and traditions, as RECLAMATION of our human Soul Sovereignty.
